
Milan will host a leading international trade fair for machine tools from Oct. 5 to Oct. 10 next year, according to the organizers of the event.
The trade fair, EMO Milano 2015, will exhibit machine tools, robots, automation, mechatronics and related products at an exhibition center of more than 345,000 square meters.
Organizers say they hope to capitalize on the growth potential of industrial machines in the next three years via the event.
The event, sponsored by the European Association of the Machine Tool Industries, runs every two years in Hannover and Milan alternatively.
Approximately 1,600 exhibitors are expected to participate the Milan fair, along with 150,000 visitors from 100 different countries, according to the organizers.
