Chairman of Jordan Chamber of Commerce Nael Kabariti on Thursday discussed with CEO of Trade Malta Anton Buttigieg and his accompanying delegation, ways to bolster economic ties between the private sectors in both countries.
Kabariti noted preparations to host the Jordanian-Maltese Economic Forum, slated to be held in Jordan next April, while reiterating the importance of the event to exchange investment opportunities and launch joint investments.
Kabariti also proposed signing a cooperation and a joint business council agreements to help promote economic ties between Jordan and Malta.
Meanwhile, Anton Buttigieg said that his country, as a member of the EU, has a plenty of opportunities to offer to Jordan. He also noted the Maltese private sector's keenness to explore investment opportunities with its Jordanian counterpart.
