The Chairman of Hebat Al-Islamic Fund in South Hamed Choi Young hailed in Seoul on Monday the aid offered by Kuwait to spread the teachings of Islam among the Korean people.
Kuwait's Ambassador to South Korea Jassem Al-Bedaiwi received Young at the Kuwait Embassy, as the later handed the diplomat a copy of a summary of "Sahih Al-Bukhari" that was translated to Korean language, as a donation from Kuwait.
The "hadith" collection of Imam al-Bukhari is considered the most authoritative collection of the traditions of the Prophet Mohammad (Peace and Blessing of Allah may upon him).
A total of 15,000 copies were printed, and will be distributed to mosques located in various parts of South Korea, besides embassies of Islamic countries, public libraries, and local universities interested in Islamic and middles Eastern studies, Fund's Chairman added.
He hailed the Kuwaiti charity aid offered to support the spread of the teachings of Islam in South Korea, which played a prominent role in correcting the misconceptions about Islam, and presenting the truthful image of the religion.
Al-Bedaiwi said that such Kuwaiti public and official aid reflects the Kuwaiti traditions and beliefs in promoting Islam, and supports Muslims all over the world.
