
Lithuania's Ambassador to Egypt Dainius Junevicius hailed economic reforms adopted by Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, including the subsidy and the New Suez Canal project, which will flourish the national economy.
In exclusive statements to MENA Saturday, the ambassador said that the first half of this year witnessed an increase of trade exchange between Egypt and Lithuania.
He, meanwhile, said that the total trade exchange hit 46.4 million euros last year.
The ambassador further expected that the number of Lithuanian tourists to Egypt to hit 40,000 this year after lifting travel warning to Egypt.
