Mahlab meets transport minister of DRC

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met Tuesday with the transport minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo before leaving Ethiopia for Egypt.
Mahlab, who was here for the 18th COMESA summit, stressed that Egyptian companies are willing to contribute to projects implemented by the DRC government in the field of infrastructure.
He suggested that Egypt and the DRC establish a joint contracting company to implement those projects.
This company should use materials of the DRC and the expertise and cadres of Egypt, Mahlab said.
He said the DRC's premier invited Mahlab to visit their country.
