
Liow Tiong Lai, Malaysia’s new Transport Minister, stated during meeting with relevant leaders that the new cabinet will continuingly support the development of Port klang free zone.
He spent an afternoon meeting with Xia Baowen, the sole lease facilitator of the Port Klang Free Zone Friday. A status report on the development of the Port klang free zone was delivered in the meanwhile.
Liow fully stressed the development of Port klang free zone and Halal industry center as core project of free trade zone .
He said that Malaysian government gives great attention and support to the Port klang free zone. Malaysia should put its many competitive advantages into good use to attract more investment from China, ASEAN and other Muslim countries.
