Minister al-Kanderi, London's mayor discuss transport cooperation

Minister of Communication and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Issa Al-Kanderi met here Monday with visiting Lord Mayor of the City of London Alderman Alan Yarrow, discussing bolstering cooperation in the transport field.
A statement by the Ministry of Communication said that Yarrow offered the UK expertise within the underground and railway systems to enable Kuwait to benefit from such methods of transportation.
The two officials affirmed during the meeting the strong relations between Kuwait and the UK, vowing to further bolster ties in every means possible.
Yarrow is touring the Gulf region leading an economic delegation to boost economic relations between Britain and the Arabian Gulf countries. His tour includes Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
