Speaking to the media prior to his departure to Iran, Punjab's senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Khan Khosa, who is leading the delegation, said that the Punjab government would be providing all sorts of facilities to Iran in the agriculture and industrial sectors. "In addition, talks will also be held with Iran relating to the generation of solar energy in the province," he added. Iran's Consul General in Lahore Mohammad Hossein Bani Asadi said that his country was aware of Pakistan's energy conditions and could extend cooperation in resolving it. "Pakistan and Iran are brotherly countries and the ties between the two countries have recently further strengthened," he said.
