Prime Minister Sherif Ismail gave directives to the minister of trade and industry to prepare a comprehensive report on the measures taken to remove obstacles facing investments in industrial areas.
The report is due to be submitted to the Cabinet at its meeting on July 13.
Separately, the premier directed to present, at the July 13 meeting, the final draft of a bill on car manufacturing that aims at developing car manufacturing in Egypt and providing the components needed for this industry in order to be able to encourage pumping more local and foreign investments into that sector.
The law also seeks to build bridges of cooperation with major countries to make a good use of their experience and to transfer their advanced technological expertise in car manufacturing.
