
The State of Qatar on Tuesday took part in the ministerial meeting organized by the Inland Transport Committee (ITC) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti represented the State of Qatar to the meeting entitled the "Past and Future of the UNECE Inland Transport Committee".
The meeting was attended by Transport Ministers from the UNECE region and beyond.
The ministerial meeting, organized to celebrate the seventieth anniversary of the Inland Transport Committee and in conjunction with its 79th session, took stock of its past contributions and decided on its future mission until 2030 at a time of profound changes, challenges and opportunities globally.
