
Former presidential candidate Hamdeen Sabahi has underlined the importance of the European Union participation in the planned economic conference in Egypt.
During a meeting with James Moran, the EU ambassador in Cairo, Sabahi said that the economic growth should be accompanied by justice in distributing the fruits of this growth to realize social justice.
Sabahi said that the coming parliament has a main role in monitoring the executive authority.
He stressed the need for integrating young people in the political life.
For his part, Moran said that the European Union is keen on supporting the Egyptian economy, which witnesses an improvement in macroeconomic indicators.
