The Foreign Ministry has expressed its expectation that the call of Washington for a donors conference for support to South Sudan is attempt of the United States to rescue the economy of South Sudan State from collapse. Interviewed by SUNA, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Al-Obeid Muraweh, said that the call for an economic conference for South Sudan State is believed to be attempt to save its economy from falling down. He said that holding of this conference would encourage South Sudan State to go ahead in its obstinacy and refuse to implementation of the agreements and the security arrangements protocols that it has signed with Sudan. Ambassador Muraweh said that the American envoy to the Security Council, Suzan Rice remained exercising pressure on circles in the region with the aim to allow transfer of Sudan file from the African Union to the Security Council, and subsequently to issue resolutions against Sudan. He said that Sudan continuous diplomatic activity and its confrontation to plots either at the Security Council or in Africa was successful in aborting the conspiracies against Sudan. Ambassador Muraweh pointed to the evident improvement in the Sudanese - European relations at the bilateral, indicating that Sudan has organized and will organize several cultural and economic activities in a number of European countries to pave the way for new economic partnerships.
