
The Minister of Investment Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail met Monday with the delegation of the visiting Ukrainian companies' group.
The delegation reviewed its experiences in the domains of energy, dams and mining in different countries. The head of the delegation expressed desire of the group to engage in the investment field in Sudan.
Dr. Ismail, meanwhile, affirmed development of the relations between Sudan and Ukraine in various investment spheres, particularly in energy and renewable energies besides the promising opportunities in the field of mining, the wide volume of the market of the COMESA grouping and the free zones between Sudan and six of its neighbourliness which offer industrialization and trade among the countries of the region.
The minister referred to the importance of private sector between the two countries in the implementation of investments., briefing the delegation on the Sudanese Investment Act.
