
Head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish witnessed Sunday the signing of an agreement to rent one of the authority's ferries to the Suez Canal Company for Containers.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Mamish said that the contract stipulates renting a ferry for the company to ferry its workers and employees for five years subject to renewal by mutual consent with 2,000 dollars daily.
He further welcomed fruitful cooperation with the Suez Canal Company for Containers which is part and parcel of the Egyptian national economy and is a partner in development.
The authority is keen on diversifying the resources of its income so as not to be limited to collecting transit tolls by adopting a group of economic projects to be unveiled soon, the statement read
