
Chinese Commerce Minister Gao Hucheng will represent his country in Egypt Economic Development Conference, to kick off in Sharm el Sheikh on Friday, on behalf of President Xi Jinping.
The Chinese delegation will group representatives of more than 40 Chinese companies and foundations, including the Chinese Development Bank, Chinese-African Development Fund, Exports and Imports Bank and Chinese Investment Foundation, said the Chinese economic counselor at the Chinese Embassy here.
The Chinese minister will hold talks with a number of Egyptian ministers for talks on boosting economic cooperation.
Trade between Egypt and China reached 11.6 billion dollars in 2014 up by 13.86 percent compared with 2013.
