Head of the Egyptian Polish Businessmen Association (EPBA) Medhat el Kaissy said Saturday that a number of trade missions would be dispatched to Poland to expand the association activity.
A statement by EPBA highlights that the association held meetings with Polish investment agencies to review business opportunities in Egypt.
El Kaissy said Egypt has chances to establish joint projects that open the gate to the African markets.
The Polish companies may take advantage of agreements signed by Egypt to promote business in Africa including deals with the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and other agreements signed with the European countries.
At least 95 percent of goods imported from Poland are capital and industrial goods, he said in the statement.
The tourist arrivals coming from Poland recorded high rates despite the current situation in the region, he added.
Some 400,000 Polish tourists visited Egypt over the past year, he said.
