
Turkey's Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan will depart on Sunday for the United States on an official visit to devise ways to increase commercial relations between the two countries. Caglayan will meet US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, US Trade Representative MichaelFroman and several US investors on Monday over the recent economical developments, Caglayan's office said. The Turkish minister's talks will also cover economic fallout from developments in the Middle East, Free Trade Agreement talks between the US and the European Union (EU) and as well as efforts of US-Turkey High Level Working Committee. Caglayan will also join a roundtable meeting in US Chamber of Commerce. On September 17, Caglayan will come together with representatives of Turkish foundations and US-based Turkish businesspeople, as well as hold bilateral meetings with representatives from a number of US companies.
