
Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy of the UAE has held three separate meetings with Marie-Gabrielle Ineichen-Fleisch State Secretary for Economic Affairs of Switzerland, Dato' Sri Mustapha Mohamed, Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia and Adan Mohammed, Cabinet Secretary for Ministry of Industrialisation and Enterprise Development of Kenya on the sidelines of the WTO's 10th Ministerial Conference in Nairobi.
During his meeting with State Secretary for Economic Affairs of Switzerland, the UAE Economy Minister discussed a number of issues of mutual concerns including the EFTA States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, in addition to the free trade agreement signed with the Gulf Cooperation Council. He also discussed ways to enhance relations with Switzerland.
While meeting with Minister of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia, Al Mansouri discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries which has witnessed a notable development in the few past years.
Al Mansouri and Adan Mohammed, the Cabinet Secretary for Ministry of Industrialisation and Enterprise Development of Kenya discussed ways to boost joint bilateral ties between the two friendly countries as well as to establish strategic economic partnerships, especially in the business sector.
The two side also discussed ways to establish joint framework between the UAE and Kenya to tackle a number of issues of mutual interests, particularly issues related to trade and investment ties as well as Small and Medium Enterprises, SMEs, between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the UAE Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade and Industry Affairs also met with State Secretary of Slovenia, Ales Cantarutti
