
The UAE embassy in London, in co-operation with the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and United Kingdom Trade & Investment (UKTI), has organised a distinguished event to attract British investments to the innovative production sector in the country.
The event, organised at the Bulgari Hotel London, was held under the theme "Dubai First destination for innovative production."
The initiative came in line with the support provided by the UAE embassy for the innovative production sector in the UAE. The event gathered elite British companies and sectors in the innovative production sector in Dubai.
In his welcoming statement, Abdulrahman Ghanem Al Mutaiwee, UAE Ambassador to the United Kingdom, emphasised Dubai's stature as an innovative hub in the Middle East. He also predicted that Dubai will be an innovative centre in the Middle East as it will attract international innovative talent to the region.
He also pointed to the Dubai Expo 2020, which is expected to boost Dubai's economy to up to ?20 billion, and added that this is the ideal time to invest in Dubai.
About 40 representatives of British companies attended the forum.
