
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation of the UAE, and Francois-Philippe Champagne, Minister of International Trade of Canada, today met in Abu Dhabi to discuss ways of promoting and enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries, with a focus on trade and investment, to benefit their people.
Welcoming Champagne's visit, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah stressed that the UAE is keen on bolstering co-operation with Canada in various spheres.
Champagne hailed the significant progress taking place in the UAE.
He stressed that his country is keenly interested in expanding co-operation with the UAE at various levels.
The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
