US economy posts solid jobs growth in March

The US economy posted solid jobs growth in March but the unemployment rate ticked up, the Labor Department said Friday.
The economy added 215,000 jobs in March, stronger than the 200,000 expected by analysts. The jobless rate rose a tenth point to 5.0 percent as a growing number of people entered the jobs market.
