
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Electricity stressed on Monday the importance of accelerating the implementation phases of the French-funded projects in the country.
During his meeting with French ambassador to Yemen Frank Julie, Abdullah al-Akwa'a underlined the importance of supporting Yemen in various fields of energy.
He praised the French support provided to Yemen in the transitional stage as well as the outstanding efforts of France and the group of ten countries sponsoring the Gulf initiative in support of the political settlement in Yemen and the implementation of the national dialogue outcomes.
The French ambassador stressed the importance of strengthening local efforts along with the international community to carry out the development plans in Yemen.
