
Prime Minister Mohamed Salem Basindwa discussed on Thursday with South Korea's ambassador to Yemen Lee Young-ho the cooperation between the two countries and prospects of boosting them in the economic and investment areas.
In the meeting, Basindwa commended the cooperation relations between Yemen and South Korea, underlining the importance of pushing these relations forward, especially in the economic and investment areas.
The meeting touched on the success that has been achieved under the national reconciliation government with respect to modifying the selling price of Yemeni gas (LNG) to the Korean market and the negotiations that took place between the two sides in this aspect.
In this regard, the Korean ambassador praised the responsible leadership of the Prime Minister, which resulted in the success of the negotiations in this aspect, affirming his country's keenness to strengthen the cooperation with Yemen in the various areas and support it to complete the current transition stage.
