Net profits for the second quarter of this year posted by Agility Logistics Company reached KD 7.83 million, with a 7.79 fils per share, a decrease by 57 percent compared to same period last year. A statement by the company, the Gulf's largest logistics provider by market value, said on Sunday that revenues have also dropped 23 percent when compared to same period last year, adding that such posted losses in profits and revenue were due to the failure of acquiring several government contracts. Nonetheless, the statement added that the service sector in the company has witnessed a two percent increase in revenues for the same period when compared to last year, which were due to trading in the commercial sector excluding profits from government contracts.
