In line with expansion plans throughout the Middle East region, Famco (Al-Futtaim Auto & Machinery Co), the Al-Futtaim Group’s distributor of commercial vehicles, construction and industrial equipment, on Monday announced the launch of its operations in Qatar. Paul Floyd, Managing Director at Famco said: “While the Al-Futtaim Group has excellent historical business ties in Qatar, we felt the time is right for a dedicated operation in Qatar to service the country’s growing construction and logistics industry.
