The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) has concluded its preparations to receive thousands of visitors during the Eid Al Fitr holiday after the holy month of Ramadan, ASEZA Chief Commissioner Kamel Mahadin said on Tuesday. The authority has taken preparations to ensure smooth commercial, tourist and economic activities and to facilitate visitors’ safety and satisfaction, he said. During Eid Al Fitr, the number of visitors to the Red Sea resort is expected to reach around 60,000, according to Mahadin. ASEZA has also prepared campsites at the southern beach for those who do not wish to spend the night in hotels or hotel apartments, he pointed out.
