
Sales Hyundai Motor Co. and its affiliate Kia Motors in the European Union rose 11.7% during the first nine months of the year, official data showed Friday.
Hyundai sold 376,652 units during the period, 9% compared to the same period of last year. Kia meanwhile was up 14.4% year-on-year having sold 329,172 units. The data was released by the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association.
The strong sales results helped increase the market share of Hyundai and Kia to 3.4% and 2.9% respectively, South Korean news agency Yonhap reported today
