
Ray Gammell, Etihad Airways' Chief People and Performance Officer, unveiled the Etihad Airways Room at Children's National Medical Center in Washington DC. He was accompanied by Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States, Kurt Newman, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of Children's National, and Bret Baier, member of the Children's Hospital Foundation Board. Mr. Gammell said: "Children's National is a medical centre of excellence, ensuring that the latest technology and treatments are provided to children who need them most." Dr. Newman said: "We are so appreciative of Etihad Airways' support of the life-saving research and treatment at Children's National. Their generous support truly enables our teams to think bigger and do more for our patients." Etihad Airways was a co-sponsor of the Children's ?Dream a Little Dream' Ball, the proceeds of which will go to enhancing the research and facilities required to provide the best available treatment to its young patients.
