Investments of the French companies operating in Egypt hit 30 billion Egyptian pounds, said French Ambassador to Egypt Andre Parant.
The French side has confidence in the Egyptian government, he affirmed, adding that no French company has withdrawn its investments from Egypt since the January 25 Revolution.
Speaking on the sidelines of signing a pact with Egypt's International Cooperation Ministry Naglaa el-Ahwani to fund the mobile units of the third and fourth phases of Cairo underground, the ambassador said that Egypt is one of the investment-attractive countries.
The Egyptian government and the French Embassy in Cairo are looking for more investment opportunities in order to encourage investors to do business in them, he added.
