Hyundai motor's sales edge up 1.2% in June

Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea's No. 1 automaker, said Tuesday its June sales edged up 1.2 percent from a year earlier, helped by demand for both brand new and steady selling cars at home and abroad.
The company's data said it sold 412,648 cars last month, with domestic sales rising solid 7.9 percent to 59,915. Overseas shipments moved up a marginal 0.2 percent to 352,733 cars.
