
Egypt's Consul General in Milani Ambassador Ali al Halawani said Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman reviewed investment potentials in Egypt at a conference he held during his visit to Italy.
In statements on Saturday, the Egyptian consul-general said Italian companies and representatives of banks showed interest in investing in Egypt.
Egypt's investment minister held a series of meetings with Italian companies and the media to promote Egypt's economic conference, set for March in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh.
Representatives of the Italian companies expressed willingness to bolster economic and trade relations with Egypt in the coming phase and to get posted on the new investment laws and the incentives it would offer to new investors.
