Palestinian official criticises companies' participation in Israeli forum

A senior Palestinian official on Monday slammed the participation of Palestinian companies in a programming forum held in Israel. Sabri Seidam, an aide to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for communication affairs, told Xinhua that Israel aims to use such cooperation "to modify the ugly face of the Israeli military occupation." Earlier on Monday, Israel Radio reported that a programming forum was held in Tel Aviv, in which several Palestinian programming companies participated. The forum reportedly aimed to find venues for Israeli- Palestinian cooperation in hi-tech fields.
