
RasGas Company Limited opened a new building called Zekreet for its offices in Ras Laffan Industrial City, the Qatari company said Saturday in a media statement. The new premises will accommodate more than 350 employees from the Group Operations, Supply Management and Services Management Company. RasGas Managing Director Hamad Rashid Al Mohannadi, who attended the opening ceremony along with senior management executives and other officials, said the new building was designed to match work environment of the company. "RasGas gives top priority to its employees and recognizes their contribution as one of the key factors in the company's success," said Al Mohannadi stressing that the provision of a suitable workplace that matches the requirements of staff, is an aspect receiving the utmost attention of the company. Genuine good management of employees comes as a result of a quality workplace that meets the functional and psychological requirements of the staff. This is encompassed in the new building which has spacious offices, meeting rooms and other facilities, he added. For his part, Ras Laffan-based RasGas Operations Group Director Mubarak Hamad Al Mohannadi said, "Safety assumes maximum importance in the construction and equipping operations, therefore the project was safely completed without the any lost time incident''. RasGas would continue to build the future in Ras Laffan as well as in Doha through full commitment to excellence at the workplace while maintaining its distinguished status with regard to confidence and credibility, he added. The new offices building project was accomplished through the collective efforts of different work teams from operations, management services, safety, health and environment and quality groups. The contract of the new building was assigned in 2009 and the bulk of construction was done in 2010 followed by the equipping of the building by the Facilities and Equipment Department.
