National oil group Sonatrach is expected to achieve USD60 billion in revenues in 2014, provided that the prices stabilize, the group's interim CEO, Said Sahnoune, said Monday.
The revenues "should remain around 60 billion dollars provided oil prices stabilize," Sahnoune told the Algerian Radio.
The manager of Sonatrach predicted a production growth from 2014 with a rise by five percent in the first nine months of the year.
"Over the first nine months of 2014, we have produced five percent more than 2013. It is the first time we manage to reverse the trend in three to four years."
The upward trend is due to continue over the next years with the resumption of production at the sites of Tiguentourine and In Salah.
