Nicholas Read, Chief Financial Officer of Vodafone Group, will be taking part in the economic conference to be held in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh in March.
Vodafone investments in Egypt will be reviewed during the conference, Noha Saad, a PR director at Vodafone Egypt, told MENA Wednesday.
The company is seeking to increase investments in Egypt in the coming stage, she added.
Read, she said, will be holding meetings with the ministers of communications and finance and the governor of the Central Bank of Egypt on the sidelines of the conference, Saad said.
The company already started pumping three billion pounds into the Egyptian market with the aim to upgrade its mobile networks, Saad added.
She put the total Vodafone investments in Egypt at 30 billion pounds ever since it started in 1998.
