Vodafone Egypt will allocate 9.5 billion pounds for developing its networks to guarantee best services to clients, CEO of Egypt's largest mobile operator Ahmed Essam said.
"Our priority in the coming period is to sustain our pioneering role at the Egyptian market through investing in the network," Essam said at the Cairo ICT 2014 conference.
The company launched during the conference "Innovate" service, a new service that encourages young people to innovate, upgrade mobile services and increase their income.
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and Communications Minister Atef Helmi attended the opening ceremony of the conference on Tuesday.
