Arab Conference concludes in Cairo

Social Development Minister Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al-Balooshi chaired the final session of the two-day Arab Conference for Millennium Development Goals, which concluded today in Cairo, Egypt. The session discussed obstacles hampering the achievement of the millennium development goals and required pan-Arab action for 2015 and beyond. The vital role of civil society institutions (NGOs) in meeting the millennium developments was also on the agenda of the pan-Arab conference. AHN
