Arrangements for Russian trade delegation visit to Yemen reviewed

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Sa'adi discussed here on Tuesday with Russian ambassador to Yemen Sergei Koslov the arrangements for an imminent visit of a Russian commercial delegation to Yemen in this June. The Russian delegation to be headed by the Russian Deputy Economic Development Minister aims to get acquainted with the available investment opportunities in the country and to strengthen the cooperation frameworks between the private sectors in both Yemen and Russia. Al-Sa'adi and Koslov also discussed the details of activating the Yemeni-Russian joint committee. The International Cooperation Minister accentuated the Yemeni government's keenness to develop areas of bilateral cooperation with Russia, stressing the need to activate the Yemeni-Russian committee. He reiterated the Yemeni government's welcome to the Russian investments in Yemen and the Russian delegation's visit to Yemen as well. The Russian ambassador underscored Russia's willingness to boost the cooperation relations with Yemen in all areas.
