
Labour Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan has lauded His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's keynote address to the nation marking the 13th Anniversary of the National Action Charter which, he said, represented a turning point in the kingdom's history in which Bahraini citizens rallied together behind the Royal Reform Project.The Minister voiced pride in HM the King's praise of the labour achievements since the popular approval of the National Action Charter, regarding the increase of job opportunities, decrease of unemployment rates and empowerment of women whose representation went up from 4.9 % to 35.5 % of the total workforce of in Bahrain, and their percentage in the public sector reached almost 51%.He affirmed that the Royal praise of the achievements of the labour sector will motivate the ministry to optimise those strides through launching new initiatives to create more job opportunities and training programmes to develop human resources.He pointed out that the Labour Market Reform Project, which was one of the fruits of the comprehensive Reform Project, has attracted the private sector to increase its investments, and enhanced its ability to generate rewarding job opportunities for national job seekers.Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, on the 13th Anniversary of the National Action Charter.
