The Acting CEO of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), engineer Nabil Abdurrahman Al Mahmoud, emphasized today the desire of the Bahraini private sector in developing and boosting bilateral trade and investment relations with the Kingdom of Spain and to increase the volume of bilateral trade between the two friendly countries and peoples in various economic sectors and fields and pointed out the need to harness all available opportunities for this purpose in both countries. This came during a meeting held this morning at the Bait-ul-Tijjar in Manama with the Riyadh-based Spanish Advisor for Trade and Economic Relations, Mr. Juan Bordaille. Engineer Nabil Al Mahmoud praised existing diplomatic relations between the two friendly Kingdoms, pointing to the need to intensify mutual cooperation between the two countries, including visits by business delegations and participation on various occasions in order to open new horizons of cooperation and to bolster economic cooperation and he welcomed increasing cooperation mechanisms between eh BCCI and the Spanish Embassy in Riyadh and he cited encouraging investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Bahrain which is a link between regional and international commercial markets in view of Bahrain's strategic location and close proximity to neighborly markets which is a good opportunity to boost mutual investments between both countries and increase the partnership between Bahrain and Spain.
