Dr Al-Zayani meets with regional director of World Bank

GCC Secretary General, Dr. Abdul Latif Bin Rashid Al-Zayani met today Wednesday at Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh with the Regional Director of World Bank, Hart Schaffer and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, both sides reviewed areas of joint cooperation between GCC and World Bank, particularly the efforts done by World Bank and GCC states to support development in Yemen. They also discussed the Yemeni presidential decree forming the executive office to accelerate the absorption of donor pledges this month, where the GCC Secretary General expressed his welcome of establishing the office, and urged World Bank to maintain supporting it, out of its important role in helping to increase the levels of support to Yemen.
