Minister of State for Electricity and Water Affairs Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza patronised today, at the Bahrain Crowne Plaza hotel, the opening ceremony of the second Leadershift Conference, organised by Prince Events Management. During the opening session, Dr. Mirza staged a presentation in which he highlighted his own leadership experience in the service of the national economy, shedding light on the challenges facing decision-makers, quoting famous world leaders on ways of taking advantage of difficulties and obstacles through turning them into opportunities to consolidate the institutional positions. He also highlighted the kingdom's experience in the fields of institutional leadership, stressing the importance of overcoming obstacles to upgrade the status of establishments, especially amid the critical situation the region is currently going through because of economic and geo-political problems. Prince Events Management's General Manager Khalid Al Quod also delivered a statement during the inaugural session in which he welcomed Dr. Mirza, asserting that the conference is a suitable venue to exchange expertise on leadership strategies in mega establishments so as to be able to overcome economic and geo-political problems. The two-day conference will address international leadership in a post-crisis era of re-covery and rebuilding. Participants include diplomatic leaders, CEO’s and Chairman, entrepreneurs and executives of the GCC’s largest companies. The conference succeeds the 1st Bahrain International Leadership conference held last year.
