The Dubai Department of Tourism '&' Commerce Marketing (DTCM), for the third year in a row, has won the "Best Arab Representative Office in Germany" and "the Most Popular Destination in the Middle East" award from Berlin-based Go Asia, a dynamic marketing 3000-member alliance specialised in marketing Asia as a destination. The awards were announced during the International Tourism Bourse (ITB Berlin) held between 6-10 March. The awards were presented to DTCM's Executive Director for Business Development Media Relations. Eyad Ali Abdul Rehman by the head of Go Asia's, Norbert Pfefferlein. "The two awards further emphasise the credibility of DTCM's marketing plans for different global tourist destinations," Abdul Rehman said a statement. He noted that Dubai is a highly popular and favorite destination for German tourists. The Go Asia awards reflect the outcome of an online poll conducted by the marketing network. Members of Go Asia including tour operators, airlines, and tourism boards, are eligible to vote in the poll.
