
Kuwait Red Crescent Society's (KRCS) participation in an exhibition held on the fringes of the 2nd donors conference, to be held on January 15, is an indication to the important role played by KRCS in helping the Syrians.Chief of KRCS Barjas Al-Barjas told the press Friday evening, after the opening ceremony of the exhibition, that Kuwaiti efforts in aiding the Syrian people have been notable on a local and international scales; efforts that have been directed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to ease off the hardships of the Syrian refugees who were forced to flee their country due to civil war.The exhibition is induced by a sense of nationalism and a sense of responsibility towards the disadvantaged, Al-Barjas noted. He added that it presents KRCS's various humanitarian roles through paintings and manuscripts.On his part, advisor at the Amiri Diwan and head of media center for the exhibition Mohammad Abu Al-Hassan, who was present at the opening ceremony, said that KRCS has been one of the leading organizations that always rushes to help the distressed worldwide. He lauded KRCS's uplifting support for the refugees of the Syrian civil war.
