Iranian and Polish officials in a meeting in the Central city of Isfahan conferred on ways to further develop trade and economic relations between the two countries. "Iran has been able to continue its economic activities at the global level actively and dynamically despite international sanctions and people do not feel being under heavy pressure," Deputy Governor-General of Poland's Wielkopolskie province Mathieu Klemensky said in a meeting with Head of Isfahan province's Chamber of Commerce Khosro Kassa'eeyan on Sunday. Klemensky, who heads a 15-strong delegation of Polish traders in the visit, underlined that the trip has changed his view about the conditions in Iran. "In this trip we became closely familiar with Iran's economic and industrial potentials, specially in Isfahan province, and this provides the ground for cooperation between the two sides." Kassa'eeyan, for his part, said that the bilateral relations between the two Iranian and Polish provinces can pave the way for the further development of economic cooperation between the two capitals. Ties between the two friendly countries of Iran and Poland are growing and the two sides are seeking to bolster relations in different arenas. In relevant remarks earlier this month, Polish Ambassador to Tehran Juliusz J. Gojlo underlined that expansion of relations with Iran stands atop his country's foreign policy agenda. Speaking in a meeting with Tehran's Governor-General Hossein Hashemi, the polish diplomat voiced the polish private sector to have more share in Iran's lucrative market. The polish official further expressed the hope that the visits of the Polish economic delegations would bear fruitful results for both sides.
