Islamic finance in UK highlighted

Britain today issued a guide on Islamic finance system in the United Kingdom. In a statement, the Foreign Office, Trade and Investment Ministry and Treasury Ministry jointly issued the guide which provides a general review on the Islamic finance market in the United Kingdom and a summary on what the British government offers in a number of sectors. The statement pointed out that the United Kingdom now became a center for Islamic finance and that most of British banks provide Islamic financial transactions in addition to professional services companies' practice of recruiting a big number of specialized Islamic finance teams.
