Israeli authorities on Monday opened the Kerem Abu Salem crossing, which is located south east of the Gaza Strip, to allow the entry of limited goods. Palestinian Authority's liaison official Raed Fattouh said that the occupation authorities opened the Kerem Abu Salem crossing and will allow one truckload of tomatoes to be exported to Jordan. Fattouh added that the Israeli officials will allow the entry of 230 to 240 trucks loaded with aids for commercial, agricultural and transportation sectors, including 30 modern vehicles as well as 11 trucks of cement, 36 trucks of gravel for UNRWA construction and 10 other trucks of cement for the World Bank projects. Limited quantities of cooking gas and industrial diesel for the power plant will also be shipped through the same terminal, Fattouh said.
