Turkish Prime Ministry Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) held a workshop in Tokyo concerning the investment scopes in Turkey, and Japanese investors drew intense interest in the workshop. IPA has introduced the investment opportunities in Turkey to the Japanese investors within the scope of the accelerated economic relations between Turkey and Japan after Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's visit to Turkey in May. The Chairman of IPA Ilker Ayci stressed that the workshop was very efficient, adding, "Drawing intense interest in this workshop is one of the most important indicators how the political and economic stability of Turkey have been considered by Japanese investors." Ayci said that they have carried some news in their pocket regarding the additional and new investments of the Japanese investors in Turkey. More than 400 Japanese investors have attended the workshop, which has been held at the Tosho Kaikan Building of Tokyo Chamber of Commerce within the cooperation of BTMU, one of the biggest banks of Japan, and Japan-Middle East Cooperation Centre.
