
Kuwait Housing Conference will be held Sunday under auspices of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, an event featuring contribution of parliament, government, international organizations, private sectors and civil society bodies.The National Assembly's Housing Committee is organizing the conference with the objective of addressing the housing problem in a serious, rapid and realistic manner.Organizers seek to involve the society in contributing to the solution of the housing issue.They also want this conference to be a tool that would change the housing philosophy and the approach used to solve the problem in the medium and long terms.Conferees will discuss how to achieve a balance between the real estate market and the social security of citizens. They will also discuss housing status in Kuwait and capabilities of the government to continue honoring housing needs of citizens while taking into consideration the current housing policy.The role of private sector to solving the housing problem will be also discussed, in addition to role of banks to providing financing tools.
