Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Nasser Al-Mutairi stressed the strong relations with the southeastern European country in all domains, especially the economic ones, noting that Kuwait is the first Arab country to invest in post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina. This remark was made during a ceremony of placing the corner stone of the biggest and only resort in Sarajevo; a project that was the fruit of the financial support of Kuwait Fund For Arab Economic Development. The event was attended by many senior Bosnian officials and Arab diplomats. Head of the Project Jassim Al-Khandari addressed the attendees in his speech by noting that the 160-aquare meter-resort consists of modern and luxurious facilities ( spas, swimming pools, high-end cafes and restaurants) that would attracted many Arab tourists. Duaij Al-Muhaiteeb, a Kuwaiti investor, told KUNA at the ceremony Saturday that Kuwaiti investments hold the lion's shares in Bosnia. He said that the future will reveal more Kuwaiti projects that might overwhelm local markets. He also said that many Kuwaiti tourists are attracted to Bosnia due to its mild weather and decently priced real estates.
